Stronger Hydraulic Lift For Outboards 40-80HP (Salt Water)
Available on backorder
DESCRIPTION
Electro-hydraulic vertical lift “lift” for outboard motors – designed for precise adjustment of the propeller depth of the outboard motor. With this device, you can fully reveal the potential of the engine and achieve maximum speed and fuel economy when using the optimal propeller.
The principle of operation of the elevator is as follows: when the boat moves through the water, you have the opportunity, by adjusting the lifting height of the outboard motor, to achieve the most optimal deepening of its propeller, as a result of which the speed indicators of the boat are improved, as well as significant fuel economy. When using the control panel, you can more accurately adjust the depth of the motor stepwise, and then, after tuning out, save the preferred position in the non-volatile memory and thereby later, by pressing just one button, switch to the previously tuned marching mode.
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION AND CONFIGURATION
Installing the device
The product already has all the standard mounting holes that will fit most outboard motors from 40 horsepower with trim on board. If the mounting holes for your motor, or the holes already drilled on the boat do not match those already on the lift, you may need to drill additional mounting holes yourself. Below is a figure showing the distances between the main mounting holes. Before installing the lift on the boat, make sure your motor holes match those already on the lift, or drill new ones.

Refer to the installation manual of your outboard motor to drill the mounting holes of the correct size and in the right place. Fasteners for fastening the hydraulic elevator to the transom of the boat are delivered complete with a product. Make sure you have separate fasteners to further attach the motor to the elevator. These fasteners are not included with the device. Next you will need to attach the elevator to the transom of the boat. To do this, you need to disconnect your boat motor from the transom if it has already been installed. Then install the lift with the fastening elements on the already drilled holes of the motor mounting and fix it tightly. Pay attention to the drawing below, on how the isolating elements and T-shaped washers which are delivered complete with the elevator should be established.
If you are making an initial installation, then in this case it is advisable to contact specialists and entrust the installation of the device to them. Once you have attached the elevator to the transom of the boat, you need to start wiring the hydraulic hoses, filling them with oil and connecting them to the hydraulic station. Think about the route you will use to lay the hydraulic hoses. If possible, lay them out in the way they will be located in the future after attaching the station to the boat. The station should be installed in a convenient place near the stern of the boat. This can be either an open installation or a closed one in the hold of the boat. Next, connect the hydraulic cylindrical hoses to the hydraulic cylinder according to the color marking on both hose connectors and on the hydraulic station. Alternately unscrewing the plugs and screwing in their place the hose fitting. The connection must be made very carefully, as the hydraulic cylinder is filled with liquid. Unscrewing the plugs in turn, it is desirable to immediately screw in the union of the hydraulic hoses in their place. After laying the hoses and connecting them to the hydraulic cylinder, lift both free ends of the hydraulic hoses upwards and fill them to the brim with the oil supplied with the device. Then, after they are completely filled, fasten the fitting to the station one by one, lifting it slightly upwards. Remember to do this as carefully as possible, as the station is also completely filled with oil. Then, after fixing both fittings, you need to check the operation of the station and the hydraulic cylinder and make sure that there is no air in the system. To do this, connect the station directly to the battery by leaning both wires against the battery terminals. Next, alternately attach the wires to the terminals and thus changing the poles in places when the hydraulic cylinder reaches the extreme positions, make sure that the cylinder works smoothly and without jerks. If this is the case, it indicates that there is no air in the system. If the cylinder works jerkily, then you will need to take additional action to remove air from the hydraulic station and the system as a whole. Check the operation of the elevator several times before installing your outboard boat motor on it. After checking, secure the motor to the lift. Next, tighten all the fasteners that are on the sides of the elevator on both sides.
Connect the device to the battery
To switch the electrical part of the hydraulic lift, please use the wiring diagram shown in the figure below.
Operation
To make a quick start from the water and exit the boat to the speedboat, you need to lower the elevator with the motor to the lowest position. Then, after your boat has reached the speedboat, you further adjust the height of the propeller by lifting the motor up. To find its optimal depth, it is necessary that the boat went on the water in gliding mode with a fixed position of the commander. Next, you change the height of the motor and observe the speed of the boat on any speedometer. You will see in what position your boat began to move faster. This will be the most optimal position for further high-speed and economical traffic. The elevator is controlled by a non-fixed three-position toggle switch or control panel. Control of the toggle switch allows to lift and lower the elevator to extreme positions, and also to make manual adjustment by short pressings up or down. This option is basic, and the adjustment of the motor position will occur again each time. If you want more precise control with the ability to remember your favorite position in this case, you will need to purchase an additional panel and control unit for the elevator. With the help of the control panel you will be able to raise and lower the elevator to the extreme upper and lower positions. You will be able to fine-tune step by step by briefly pressing the up or down keys with a 2 cm increment in both directions. You will also be able to memorize your favorite position in which your boat will have the highest efficiency. To do this, you will need to enter the data in non-volatile memory by pressing the M key on the device control panel. And in the future, after the boat goes on the speedboat, you will only need to press one M key and the elevator itself will be in a predetermined position.
