Design features and advantages of the device
Trolling fishing is one of the most exciting methods of catching predatory fish. But, as every fishing in it has its own peculiarities. 1. Speed of trolling fishing. This is one of the most important aspects for this type of fishing. But unfortunately, not all basic trolling motors can provide it in the necessary range. And usually motors above 40 horsepower are no longer able to provide boat movement at low speeds. This is why the trolling electric motor comes to the rescue. 2. It is important to have maximum maneuverability of the boat. Since the route that must be passed taking into account the relief of the bottom is not flat and has a lot of sharp turns and changes in movement. Not every electric motor can cope with such a task. Especially when the trolling electric motor is on the bow of the boat. 3- Intuitive and comfortable boat handling. The boat steering wheel is sometimes the most intuitive type of control for our brains due to the fact that we spend a lot of time behind the wheel of a car in everyday life. That’s why the boat steering wheel is the closest and most intuitive for us! The transition to the control of all kinds of pedals, joysticks, or other devices bring additional complexity to our lives, which often do not carry the informativeness and convenience that we would like to have…. 4. Stability of the trolling motor position while the boat is moving on the water. This is also one of the most important elements for achieving electricity savings and consequently increasing the distance traveled without recharging the battery. Due to the fact that our electric motor is placed on the cavitation plate of the main motor, and this is in fact one of the most stable placements on the boat. Our motor during its operation has a stable directional thrust vector. What cannot be said, for example, when placing the electric motor on the bow of the boat. Since it is in constant motion when the boat overcomes waves and all sorts of waves on the water. Accordingly, the electric motor constantly changes the thrust vector and it is almost impossible to achieve stability in this case. So the power consumption will be very significant. 5. Autonomy and convenience of management. It is very important to be engaged in fishing. And spend less time on all sorts of additional movements that need to be carried out to prepare this or that device in the working position. That’s why our company pays special attention to autonomy! Our electric motor is brought into working position without getting up from the steering seat. Similarly, it is lifted into the parking position. Convenience is what every recreational boater strives for. 6. Quick installation and removal of the electric motor. Another important aspect is the ability to quickly remove and install the electric motor. This is necessary in different cases. Perhaps you do not need the device at the moment you go out on the water. Or for example, your boat is at a parking lot and for safety reasons you decided to remove the electric motor and leave it in a more protected place. Either way it will take a few minutes to install and remove the unit. As a result, after the electric motor is removed, the cavitation plate will be left with only the frame of the device, which in no way interferes with the movement of the boat.

Trolling motor installation
The electric motor is installed on the cavitation plate of the main running motor. But unfortunately not all boat motors can be fitted with our equipment. Therefore, you need to make sure that our electric motor can be installed on the cavitation plate of your motor without any problems. For this purpose, please see the picture on which the minimum depth and height for the installation of our electric motor is indicated.

Mounting on the cavitation plate of the main motor
To install the electric motor you need to drill 4 holes in the cavitation plate of your running motor. Beforehand, make a precise marking of the drilling points. Then install the motor frame on the cavitation plate according to the product instructions. Pay special attention to the insulating gaskets and spacers supplied with the device to prevent galvanic corrosion!

Mounting the electric motor and actuator on the bed
Once you have mounted the bed on the cavitation plate, you need to connect the motor and the electric actuator to the cavitation plate using special quick-release bushings. Pay attention to the picture. In the future you will be able to perform this procedure the necessary number of times in case you do not need the electric motor for any of the reasons, or in case the boat is parked on a carriage.

Operation
After you have assembled the electric motor and its electrical components. You can proceed to the running test. To do this, turn the speed control knob clockwise on the remote control. You will hear a click and an audible signal that the electric motor is switched on. After that the electric motor will be lowered to working condition and will take place behind the main propeller of the stroke motor. Then by adding revolutions with the speed regulator knob you can achieve the desired speed of the boat. You can also use the reverse function while moving on the water. To do this you need to completely remove the revolutions of the electric motor and then with the help of a toggle switch on the control unit to make a reverse switch of modes. After completing the transition in trolling mode, you need to bring the electric motor to the running position. To do this, turn the speed regulator knob counterclockwise until a characteristic click and a beeping sound are heard, thus turning off the electric motor. Our device has a function of forced shutdown of the device and raising it to the parking position. This is necessary to prevent over discharge of the battery. And so, when the reading reaches 11.8 volts, the device will turn off and the motor will automatically take its parking position.
Connecting the device to the battery
In order to switch the electrical part of the hydraulic elevator, please use the wiring diagram shown in the figure below.
